It does suck. One of my nephews is graduating from USC this year. The California University is to spineless to stand up to the protestors and has instead canceled graduation ceremonies.

I thought comedian Bill Maher has as good of an explanation as any ~ it is the latest thing to do. I suspect also there is a business aspect to part of the protesting. I see articles about various left wing groups paying monies to some of the protestors. Sadly also historically Jewish people have been common targets.

Something odd about those campus tent encampments. Almost all the tents are identical - same design, same size, same fresh-out-of-the-box appearance. Which suggests that rather than an organic process, whereby students would bring a variety of individual tents, some organization has supplied them..
