Make it somewhat realistic. There was never a 10 million man Viking army. Maybe 10s of thousands at any given time. That army would get rekt if they had never seen a tank and had no idea how to stop it. A modern army of the same size with rudimentary knowledge and objects (only objects and weapons available in Viking times) could improvise something to defeat it.

Or wait for the tank to run out of ammo and gas. Cover it with wood and straw. And burn them out.
