Wink Leg Pain After Workout for days.

    Hi
    All
I am 44 years, 82Kg weight, joined gym 3 months ago primarily for fat loss so I focus more on treadmill and elliptical in addition I train one muscle group a day as well for strength training.
in starting few weeks all body muscles are under pain and its quite understandable.
Still after 3 months front top leg muscle remain in pain every time for 2~3 days after legs strength training day.
only (rectus femoris, vastus latarlis and vastus medians) remain in pain other leg muscles (glutes, hamstrings and calves) remain calm.
Can someone guide me what’s I am doing wrong that prolong the pain for few days?

    Thanks

I remember one 45 yo dude kept asking, just like you, about what he was doing wrong, and DOMS and other things. And then he suddenly died. Nobody knows why. I have an idea though...

I would say DOMS. Maybe reduce the intensity of your workouts and check in with your local doctor.
Getting massages helped me tremendously. Not sure if you can work that into your week, but for me it made a huge difference.

When I first starting lifting I ran into the same thing. DOMS is a pain in the... legs. Sucks getting off the toilet, right? #1 thing I did to help was to incorporate legs twice a week. Whenever I did a single leg day per week I was miserable, every week. You can do squats and extensions on Monday, and lunges and hip sled on Thursday. Or another back squats on Monday and deadlifts on Friday. Just working those same muscles a couple times a week helped me get out of the constant cycle of "Ow this hurts for 5 days" every week. It took me 2-3 weeks before my body noticed, but it made a big difference.

TBF, I'm low-key sore all week long, but I'm not dreading stairs for 3 days straight.
