We use all-clad stainless steal and cast iron skillets.
I didn't like the copper core, so we went with D5.

Cheapest non stick walmart pan, less than $10.
Once it starts to lose its non stick, toss it and replace it.
Dont worry about overhyped non stick nonsense. Its just a ploy to get us to buy expensive pans."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I've used a variety.
I've got stainless pots and a cast iron pan.
I do like a high quality non-stick pan though. Recommend only using wood/silicone tools and not overheating them or putting them in the dishwasher.
Picked this one up for myself for Christmas:

I've used it a few times now and I like that it is lightweight.
This one would work for fried eggs, though for me it's the grilled cheese/pancake pan:
And I've got this, but it is way big for eggs unless you are making a lot at once:
