Trudeau basically came out and didn't even acknowledge the protest except to compliment truckers who are you know, actually working. And that he condemns hate propaganda and harassment of citizens.

Ottawa Mayor is live on TV right now basically saying GTFO of our city.

I've heard rumours that the organizers are now floating an idea where they try to throttle major highway entry points into the city just to cause more problems. Would love to see that happen.

My father in law runs a transport company….100% of the vaxxed truckers would have chosen to not get the vax if they had the choice…all did it for work and felt they had no choice.

Saying “90 percent have gotten the vax” doesn’t mean sh*t when a huge majority of that 90% would have opted out if they thought they could

I notice that in all areas of society. A few of my friends have gotten the injection because they wanted to travel or go out to bars. The only people I know who actually wanted to get it were my parents who are 60+ years old so they're 1) more at risk and 2) they have more confidence in traditional media.

I'm vaccinated, have a great home gym, don't live in a city and am lucky enough to work for a company that came out and said that they would never, ever force their employees to be vaccinated. They would go to jail first.

I just would like to retain the ability to decide what happens to me, and I am a believer in less government overall, no matter the party in power.

I'm an essential worker. I eat lunch out most days since I am out working. This effected me hugely.

During the worst of it I had to piss outside because the same businesses I was keeping open wouldn't let me use their bathrooms 'becasue of covid.'

That's nice you got to hide out at home, but without people like me you would have starved. Try to show some gratitude at least.

We kept you fed. Maybe you can back us up now.

One thing I did learn through all this is McDonalds is GOAT. Yes the food is chit, but they let us use the bathroom no matter what and would give essential workers free drinks and stuff. One of the best run companies out there. Starbucks is one of the worst. Absolute trash company.
