I don’t get it.
Im not mad as im trying to capitalize off it and make some money but it’s absurd
The only reason crypto goes up is because people online talk about it. Or a coin is hyped online. The only way to make a coin go up is by telling other people to buy it.

Stocks are based off companies performance - crypto is based off pump/dumps

Stocks are worth as much as how much the Fed decides to dump into the markets - not value.
Bitcoin is a giant ponzi scheme. It has no intrinsic value, other than being an incel hobby.

Stocks aren't based off performance anymore because as soon as retail trading hit, companies stopped giving af about paying dividends. Now everything is speculative and arbitrary. PE ratios are out the fukking door. Everyone is piling onto the same companies due to visibility.

Stocks are based off how much people think the company is worth, that's it. BNGO was a meme stock for a bit, but when it was trading for below $4 a share, its market cap was literally less than the amount of cash the company had on hand, let alone any actual additional revenue, intellectual/physical properties, etc.
