That is the ONE drawback to this build/platform is getting a larger mag or drum for it. Nobody makes anything bigger than 30ish and with a binary trigger a mag dump is nothing. The mag I have now is a duramag.

I hope a drum gets engineered soon...

Word, that's the C-Products Defense rebrand I think. I've heard good things about them. Any feeding issues?

The ramp is smooth and one piece. Only had feeding issues but then opened up the gas port and the rest was history

Interdasting, I've heard the same about the gas port, strange that the vendor knew enough to run a proper feed ramp but didn't get the gas port sized to spec. I am awaiting all the parts to arrive to build virtually the same thing. I went with Always Armed for the upper and an SBA4 brace.

.300 AAC ramps work well with x39 also.

There are 20 in stainless and cmv available still on aero or optics planet (30-40 day wait) after all. I just scored a complete m5 lower from primary arms for 300 shipped. I'll have to wait on the upper. Still gonna be $1200 in total, though.

Guy is willing to trade 900rds of the Federal 9mm plus add 200rds of PMC 223 for my 380. Decent deal? Debating if I hold out for just a good 5.56 package. Would use either.

if i were in your position id do it because youre getting 1100 rounds in exchange for 800 of something you cant use anyway. but its also possible you need .223/5.56 more than 9mm

not 5.56, .308. i bought two complete lower parts kits from aero which came with carbine length buffers and buffer tubes, so theyl only work with carbine length gas systems in the 308 M5 platform.

Yeah bro. Somebody else here just recently snagged one...they sell out almost immediately after being posted. Basically, line up an FFL that's already on their site, open the page around 9 am and refresh periodically...eventually you'll see one in stock. There's no *certain day* or anything...I think mine came into stock on a Saturday.

Runs great, trigger is pretty good - no slap or anything. No complaints.

I placed 3 orders today with these sorry bastards and they cancelled every one of them.

Probably get a rush on orders when stuff becomes available. Not like they strung you along for months and then cancelled it.
placed 3 backorders with sportmansguide: one delivered when expected, one they emailed to say it wouldn't be in stock when expected and asked if I wanted to cancel or wait, and the third is expected in November (lol). Two other regular orders came pretty fast. No complaints.

I don't know how your budget is. If you're like me and hate cooking and you can afford it, check out some of the meal prep companies. I started using one in April or May and it has been hands down the best choice I have made with regards to eating better. Almost every meal from them tastes great. Haven't found any that I considered bad. I eat something different for every single lunch/dinner Monday-Friday (I don't use the meals on weekends) so it doesn't get old.

I used to eat fast food quite a bit. I think in probably the last 4 months I have eaten fast food maybe 4 times? The meals are more convenient than getting in my car and driving to Taco Bell. Cut open. Microwave for 3.5 minutes. Eat.

Thanks guys. I have actually done all this before several times over. Its not a lack of knowledge, its my lack of willpower to keep going beyond a week or two. Ive done keto, IM with keto, carnivore, calorie counting, and meal prep. So far I do really like IM with keto, I think its the best option. And you lose weight quickly. But usually after like 1-2 weeks I snap and go back. So I just have to find something I dont think about and can do. So far so good on this one week in.

No sense in losing wait quickly if you will just gain it back. Make small changes, nothing dramatic. imo

Also sold 250 rds of 9mm for $50, might sell another 1k.

I have a very noob AR15 build question if anyone can help me out.

In NJ the muzzle device has to be pin and welded which means once the gas block is on it can't be taken off. To avoid being permanently married to a gas block many people use a 2 piece clamp on gas block like this

Besides being cucked, would a 2 piece block have any negative impact on performance? Or should I just suck it up and use a standard gas block and make it permanent?

I could always take the barrel to a gun smith and ask them to drill out the weld but that's really annoying. And I've heard there's a chance the muzzle device won't survive
