I think the way you’re counting the triangles makes it impossible. It’s 4th grade math- id assume that any rectangle with at least 10 triangles is the answer.. think- which months have 28 days? Lol you think February but the answer is all of them. I’d circle the whole thing and have your kid tell teacher that it’s a rectangle with 10 triangles and she didn’t say there needed to be exactly 10 of them

Similar to what MichellLnne says, I think the answer they're looking for is 1x5 squares. If you don't count any larger triangles, then it's 10 triangles inside a rectangle.

It's impossible if you start additionally counting two triangles that make a large triangle.

I don´t believe in that because the first question it´s to encircle 4 boxs that have 6 squares and 12 triangles inside. That´s easy, it´s the ko300zx answer.

I think they're just counting the small triangles and not all triangle shapes in general.
Then if you do 5 squares, it would come to 10 triangles since each square has 2 triangles.
It's a 4th grade question, they don't expect kids to look at the bigger picture.

But they ask that with only 4 boxs. So they expect them to see the big picture. :/
But for the 2nd question I believe it's a mistake.
