I don't have my media stuff wrapped around the gym, but my wife and I pretty much spend all of our time at the gym, so that is pretty much our social life.

And the stupid ass fad chit (crossfit, Insanity, various fad meal replacement shakes like herballife/shaekology) usually get a lot more attention from the ignorant masses than anything legitimate. Some do it for attention, some also do it in the hopes of making a few dishonest bucks.
