Awesome promo right before summer man. My motivation has always been staying in shape and ready at anytime. I'm a US Marine and a machine gunner that carries a 240bravo. You definitely need to be in shape to carry that around in deployment. At any given moment we can leave to any place in the world so that's one reason I like to stay in shape. Having that endurance can help myself or my brothers next to me in a firefight so I take pride in that also

What motivates me? Love. Love of training. Love of nutrition. Love of the science behind it all. Some people train because they would love to develop the best physique possible. I developed my physique not because it was my goal but as a by product of my love of training and nutrition.

Great idea for the summer. At first I was motivated working out after a 3 year relationship came to an end. I was doing it sort of for "revenge" and wanted that ripped body to get back at her. 1 year later and the motivation is there but its motivation to better myself each day. Eating healthy, working out, and improving my body day in and day out is done for me and done for the right reasons now. The hunger has stayed, but now its for the right reasons and am continuing to see results day in and day out!!

So much fun!
Motivation - I'm mostly motivated to get stronger. I like moving big weights. I'm also motivated by aesthetic goals as well. I'm also motivated because I'm a much better person after I've been to the gym! Makes the rest of my day so much better....
I'll also post my favorite summer activity! I love to hike - getting out in nature, getting the lungs going, and the views when you get to your destination are incredible. I'm lucky to live in a beautiful area with a lot of hiking
This is me and hubs at the top of Mt. Whitney:
Of course, if I'm being completely honest, this is truly my favorite summer activity

My kids... I need to be healthy and provide them with a good example
SHOW ME YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER ACTIVITY?
I would normally say beach, but we have been doing that in the winter... So, I'll have to go with watching my kids and their friends play in our pool.

Motivates me to workout: An Elite total in Powerlifting. Also to set a good example for my kids
Favorite Summer Activity is a tie between going to the pool with the family or taking long walks pulling the kids in a wagon or pushing them in a strollerThe Beast Journey to Elite

I can't say that I really have a thing that motivates me. I'm more of a process goal, and not a progress goal, sort of person. The act of working towards mastery in something is what draws me in.
Favorite summer activity is a tough one. I guess I would have to say just doing stuff outside. I like the heat. I'm definitely a warm weather person. It doesn't really matter what it is. I'll cut my grass in 100 degree weather as long as I can throw some headphones on and listen to a podcast. Im all about soaking up the sun and trying to work on this base tanTeam GAT Representative

It was a very very hard decision... you never know what he will come up with
That's the scary stuff right there... Clearing Urban areas is not for the faint of heart..
A M240 ? those have been around forever... I've shot one but it was mounted.. I thought they were replaced by the M122 ( or something lighter )
What's your load out for something like that ? Got to be way over 100 pounds

What's up Team GAT folks! I'm back from the abyss and hitting it hard in the gym.
My motivation is that I looked into joining the AirForce and I'm too heavy. They have height/weight standards and I need to drop about 20 lbs ( or like 8% BF). For me, this is a wake-up call. I was complacent being relatively healthy and not obese, but I'm certainly not fit. Not any more! I'm doing 30 min of cardio + 30 minutes of weights in the morning then 45 mins of cardio at lunch.Current Log | https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=173823581
