I guess I was hoping against hope. We all know to ignore half the rumors and bull**** throughout the year (remember when Phil said he was doing the Arnold?) and I thought there might at least be a slim possibility he'd do the show.

Dennis Wolf signed a contract, but given that he's just had spinal surgery and looks like this...

I personally think this is going to be one of the best Olympias in quite some time. What with Levrone in the mix, Dex hell bent on winning the sandow, Ramy working with Aceto, Roelly and Victor getting the middle eastern treatment, McCarver looking crazy, Branch not being able to steal a placing away from more worthy competitors etc. Really looking forward to it.

the way he dodges questions. thats why he is NOT mr O. how is he gonna represent when he cant even answer a question? Full of "kailosophy" very little facts. People want to hear facts not just your opinions. For all we know he doesnt win because he speaks like a drunk fortune teller

Kai Greene is an incredible bodybuilder, and beyond that I think he was great for the sport. With his crazy hair and weird posing routines, he is a character. And like him or hate him, the sport could use more interesting characters. But his persona or schtick or whatever it is is getting old. He had his shot, it didn't work out, and it's time to move on and let some other rivalry build up for the Olympia.

Was pretty clear to me. He chose not to do the Olympia because "governing body's" "wont allow" him to "move left, right or forward". AKA the Olympia is rigged like everyone already knew

Watched it for the passed 4 years and have to say I'm not surprised Kai isn't competing. They won't allow him to ever win it, so what's the point in him competing? to get shut down year after year and always be a runner up? I don't think he'll ever compete in it again... and I'd be doubtful if Wolf ever would also with how he is. Levrone will come in and get gifted a top 10 spot for publicity, but that'll be about it. The last few Mr O's have been pretty poor.. There's been more hype for the local comps that my gym rat friends go to than there is for the O... which is sad.

He made a boatload of money on those shows this year. IIRC, US Arnold is $250k payout for #1. He probably cleared close to $500k for the 3 shows he won this year. "Settled".....LOL

that is, assuming that your goal can be pursued and it's not one of those "chasing the dragon" games.

Jay is looking phenomenal for being "out of the game". Wolf was always a shoe in for top 5 but he never had a chance at beating Phil. The sport is in fact dying because we don't have anyone to contend with Phil.

Phil is just not an appealing champ. The battle between Jay and Phil brought people to the show. Prior to that Ronnie dominated and just had an unreal wow factor. BB is dead on the local/regional level. Watching the same thing happen on the IFBB stage is depressing.

I wish Ramy would nail his conditioning and send Phil to #2.
