    Seven days of cardio...

So I'm competing in my first NCP, class A figure show April 16th, so I'm 10 weeks out...

I'm 4'8 86.6 pounds, with 16% body fat at the most, I'm eating a little over 1500 calories when training & a little over 1300 calories when I'm not training... I got my meal plan from my nutritionist...

Anyways he says he now wants me to do walking incline cardio for 45 minutes seven days a week... Is this too much, too early on?.. Am I going to loose my muscles mass/fullness? I'm so afraid of looking flat on stage!

What are y'all thought on how much cardio I'm doing at 10 weeks out?
"Look in the mirror, that's your competition..."

First figure show (Class A) April 23,2016 (NCP)!

I guess it's a reasonable way to keep macros high while maintaining a deficit for fat loss. Incline walking is probably a good choice.

You'll look flat (or not) based on what you do in the last week, not 10 weeks out.

If you keep it to a comfortable walk, you should be fine. If he's just looking for overall time, you can split it up. My wife used to compete in figure and she would do three 20 minute sessions of incline walking a day to avoid boredom and to not be as worn down.

Without knowing more about your current metabolic state, how intense your training is or how much body fat you have to lose...(mentioned above) it's impossible to tell. These are questions you really should ask your coach, and perhaps ask other clients of that coach to ensure you are not just getting the same exact plan that everyone gets. If you have concerns there should be open communication.

Being 5'0 and also in prep to compete I can personally say that for someone relatively the same size as me that is too much cardio for being 10 weeks out. I am not familiar with your metabolic state and how much fat that you need to be losing but 7x a week for 45 min. will cause you to lean out quickly. I would ask your coach and communicate, maybe he/she made a mistake or has a certain plan for you. Best of luck!

I think if you don't mind doing that much cardio then whatever, seems a bit high to me for 10 weeks out still but it all depends on the goals and situation.
