Yep, I have a few ideas for him.. So I'm not looking for one answer, need a few and I'll discuss with him... He of course wants to LOSE fat and GAIN muscle at same time, I explained its a much harder process than that...
I've ran bro splits, PHAT, PPL, and currently 531 BBB and I'll be trying to help him on my off days...
He has almost zero experience but I'll be showing him how to do all lifts, he has about a total of 1 month gym experience in his life and I want to help him... Here's my list (to give him options depending on how many days a week he can go)
StrongLifts
Fierce 5 U/L
Some sort of PPL routine
He can't go 4-5 days a week, think 2-3 is what he can do with schedule... On top of this, I'll figure out his preferred methods of cardio to help with weight loss...
Whatcha guys think? I know all 3 routines are different, like i said I want to explain all 3 to him and see what he likes... Because if you don't enjoy the gym, u probably won't go

If he only has 1 month gym experience, then the Fierce 5 upper/lower will be too slow for him. He would either need to change the progression, so it is faster, or do an upper/lower intended for novices, like this one.
He probably will be able to gain muscle/lose fat at the same time when he starts. Unfortunately, it won't last very long or else everyone would do that forever.You can't help the hopeless.
