Very rarely do I see threads about interesting topics or anything with real substance. Mods also banning any user that gains popularity/misc celeb status probably because they don't want another zyzz but in the process they've ruined the unique culture this forum once had.

I assume so, it's been suggested by everyone and every mod countless times but
if the developers can't or won't do it there's nothing we can do. Mods are just members
with ban power, Admins actually work for bb.com at headquarters and have some say
so on what goes on.

That and it's not an issue on the the other sub forums and really the misc is the only
place that would need such a policy and it can't only be applied here.

there are some of us here who could probably write something to limit that condition to subforum 19, but im not sure if bb.com even has access to that code.

remove reps and you'll have what you seek. people will focus on things that actually matter instead. reps can be compared to a video game's online store, where people buy different clothes, mounts and other random shiit that has no substance. but it looks cool and people THINK it matters, so that's all that does matter.

one of the worst things is not being able to raid other forums/sites/camsites. i remember it being against the rules a bit after i joined. let's be serious, a lot of lols came out of that.
