Just received a copy of A Warrior's Story. I searched for this book for a long time and finally here it is.
Dorian Yates is one of my idols. I've always liked his no bullchit approach, and the simple ways of training he preaches.
This book is an old school jewel. 148 pages of great and rare pics, philosophy and training tips. The first section, written by Peter McCough, covers the most important moments of Dorian's life, from his humble beginnings to his Olympia conquers.
Section two, by Dorian himself, is an exhaustive compilation of training splits, diet advice, diet examples, exercises, muscle areas, motivation, etc
I'm gonna read it and I know I will enjoy it. Even if only for the pics and the stories, I know this is a great purchase.

Thanks for sharing, REPPED, Yates won in an era when Physique was the key factor, he stayed out of the public eye and along with Coleman has the most genuine wins not influenced by politics. In todays politically charged bodybuilding climate he would be lucky to make the top 3 despite still having the goods to win a current Olympia title.

i owned the book and loved it but like above, it falls apart very easy.
Dont over complicate things which should be relatively simple... stick to the ABC's of bodybuilding.
When you start using your calculator and stressing over the latest internet study you know you've gone to far...
I'll meet you in the gym... today is leg day

I could listen to him and BPak talk training 24/7 .. incidentally I think DY is BPak's mentor. Basically everything Dorian has to say about lifting is so logical, things like how "American incline benches are too high of an angle" and hold and slow negatives on back movements... everyone could learn a lot, except for maybe Branch/JJ et al.
meh

Nice, OP. I remember when I first became a fan of Dorian how much I wanted that book. I finally got a full copy of Blood and Guts five years ago; guess I need to seek out the book as well.
