These threads are very easily "sabotaged" when mods don't tell guys like GDPONE to stay out of them if all they want to do is cause people grief.
A related question: why is it that the terrorist attack of one guy in Australia got a 60 page thread on main MISC, while at least 5 threads about this have been moved by mods to Religion&Politics? I made a thread about this 20-30 minutes after it happened and it got moved into that abyss of trolls and hardliners. I hope you can shed some light into this, as it puzzles me.
Back on-topic:
Apparently the nearby hospital is specialized in gunshot and explosion injuries due to the amount of such violence in that region due to Taliban :/
Still some kid hostages in the hands of the terrorists. What a fuked up attack.

A terrorist attack has nothing to do with Religion nor Politics !? If in your eyes it does, I guess the Australian attack thread should be moved as well. I am just wondering why there is inconsistency in such decisions.
And yes, I am new here, thats why I ask. That is what I usually do when I have no clue ...

It's hard to fight an enemy that lives among the masses... No truly defining features, no one thing that makes them stand out other than the endgame, which by then is too late. The radicals truly are wolves in sheeps clothing, and until the sheep learn some way to identify and part their herd from the wolves, this will be an ongoing issue for years to come.

Not to really get into a discussion, but should the difference not be news vs pure discussion? I mean, if you draw a really strict line and move everything to other sections what is left really? Anything about lifting gets moved to their respective sections on the site, anything even slightly related to religion or politics to that section, anything related to relationships to the RH section, anything related to sports to the sports section, anything related to cars to that section etc etc etc.
What topics would be really left for the normal misc then? Not even FA threads would be left since they would get moved to RH.Het bier zal weer vloeien

They don't exist in the same sense that numbers don't exist. But this doesn't mean that they are not useful fictions. We can use these fictions (numbers/morality) in ways that benefit us, they are indispensable to us in a way, just like we have minds for mathematical thinking we have minds for moral thinking. And we don't need the extra fiction of God which causes people to do horrible things and hate each other.

Thankfully in Egypt Sisi has been able to put these religious extremists in their proper place - in jail or 6 feet under.
Tolerance of religious radicalism leads to the destruction of civil society.
This attack shows the wide divide between the Islamist radicals and the majority of ordinary Muslims, whose children were victims of this cowardly attack. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

If you are an atheist and don't care, it doesn't matter at all. If you are religious and don't care, you are likely violating the tenets of your religion.
Atheists gon atheist all that they want. Those of us who believe in a higher power also believe that we're going to be held accountable, and therefore being a neckbeard redditor who shows no sympathy for the loss of innocent life would be something that we'd ultimately have to answer for.

I am an atheist and I indeed care and it matters.
If you believe that everyone is going to be held accountable then you shouldn't really care. Everything will be sorted out in the end. But for us atheists we care about the here and now. The rest of your post is a strawman.
Oh yes lets focus on the good and lets ignore the bad things done in the name of religion...
The good is expected of every decent human being, regardless of his belief/unbelief.
If you agree that God is a fiction too.
I have never said that there is a thing that exists that we call morality. In my ontology there is no place for such thing. Gods, numbers, morality, propositions, possibilities, etc., are all fictions of the mind that are useful (and dangerous in the case of God).Pro MMA record: 0-0-0
