Lots of accessory work on those days too but I won't bore you. I had today off and I have tomorrow of so Ive had some good session and relaxed a bit. I also had a nice deep tissue massage last night and spent the day at the spa. Followed that up with the best burgers in town and buffalo tater tots. Hnggggg.
Deadlift - My belt pinched the **** out of me on my 440 attempt and I thought I could fight it but had to drop it. At that point I called it a day BUT I wanted to get some more work in so I did some sumo deadlift. I've come to the conclusion that I'm much more comfortable with sumo and Im going to try and give sumo a run again up until this next meet. We'll see!★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

390 for 3 is an easy PR for me. I've done more than 390 for a single rep but I think the most I've ever done 390 for is 1!★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

I haven't worn a belt on deadlifts in a VERY long time, I never felt like it helped, but recently I've been coming away from squats with bruises from my belt. And it's a cheap harbinger belt lol

305 x 2 wasn't happening today but 305 x 1 felt really damn good. Canditos program is coming to an end and I'm attempting 1RM this sunday. Going to run a cycle of 5/3/1 after this and then back on canditos program until my next meet in october★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

Everything felt pretty damn good today. Im shocked at how natural the switch to sumo has been. This is my second run with sumo but it just feels so much better this time. Last meet I hit 455 and all time best is 480 so Im really not far off! Totaled 1195 today and my best total at 181 is 1180 so this october should bring a huge wilks increase★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

For this deload I decided to keep my volume relatively the same but I'm keeping everything at an RPE8 or under and doing all machines. Doing no barbell work should certainly help my CNS but this approach will keep good blood flow to the muscles.★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★
