Muzzles, why is it that Islam depicts a heaven where you get to behave in all sorts of ways that Islam denies to you on earth? Drinking, sleeping around, conspicuous consumption of precious jewels, etc. are all things you hate your rulers/elites for, but you fantasize about having them yourselves in the next life. In fact, suicide bombers blow themselves up hoping to enjoy the same lifestyle in the next world as their hated rulers enjoy in this one. It's like your heaven is a place where your religious laws no longer apply.
Doesn't that seem really weird to you?

islam has no spirituality in it whatsoever. it's just judaism plus the unconditional power of mohammed. and mohammed didn't bring any spiritual innovation. what he brought were just extremely mundane rules like wash your anus with 3 stones after you poop in the desert, bend over 5 times a day, repeat this phrase i testimony blah blah blah over and over again, women are worth half of a man, those who leave islam must be killed, non muslims, if not submitted, must be killed, don't eat pork! no no, but chicken is fine, etc. etc.
lmao not even a spiritual innovation, just idiotic rules to satisfy his vainglory between those savages who followed him (very few before he became rich by stealing other people's money)io saturnalia!
But a brief existence is common to all things,
and yet thou avoidest and pursuest all things as if
they would be eternal. A little time, and thou shalt
close thy eyes; and him who has attended thee to thy
grave another soon will lament.

The notion of a soul trapped in the body doesn't exist in Islam.
To be a person, an individual, a human, implies to have a physical body.
Paradise is an environment that provides pleasure for all aspects of individuals in it, including the physical aspect.
Paradise is a place free from impurities.
Religious boundaries in this world are meant to keep us protected from impurities that exist in this world.
Since the worldly impurities do not exist in paradise, neither do religious boundaries that are meant to keep us protected from them. And David said, "The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and may the Lord be with you." (1 Samuel 17:37)
Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand. (1 Samuel 17:50)

The believer, the one who believed in Allah Alone will get whatever he wishes in Paradise.
The following is a hadith about the very last person to be freed from Hellfire...
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He replied, "Do you have any doubt in seeing the full moon on a clear (not cloudy) night?" They replied, "No, O Allah's Apostle!" He said, "Do you have any doubt in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?" They replied in the negative. He said, "You will see Allah (your Lord) in the same way. On the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered and He will order the people to follow what they used to worship. So some of them will follow the sun, some will follow the moon, and some will follow other deities; and only this nation (Muslims) will be left with its hypocrites. Allah will come to them and say, 'I am Your Lord.' They will say, 'We shall stay in this place till our Lord comes to us and when our Lord will come, we will recognize Him. Then Allah will come to them again and say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'You are our Lord.' Allah will call them, and As-Sirat (a bridge) will be laid across Hell and I (Muhammad) shall be the first amongst the Apostles to cross it with my followers. Nobody except the Apostles will then be able to speak and they will be saying then, 'O Allah! Save us. O Allah Save us.'
“Then, after God judges between everyone, a man will remain between the Fire and Paradise*. He will be removed from the Fire but his face will be fixed towards it, so he will cry: ‘Please God, let me face elsewhere! Its heat has dried me and its wind has burnt me!’
God will say: ‘If you are granted this wish, will you ask for anything else?’
He will cry: ‘No!! I swear by your Greatness I will not!’
And he will continue to promise and pledge not to ask anything else, until his face will be directed away from the Fire and towards Paradise. He will see its beauty… but [remembering his promise] will remain silent. He will stay silent for a long, long, time, then eventually [unable to bear any longer] will cry: ‘Please Lord, please bring me forward… just to the Gate of Paradise!! …’
God will say: ‘Didn’t you promise that you wouldn’t ask for anything else?’
The man will cry: ‘But Lord, please don’t make me the most miserable of your creation!’
God will say: ‘If I grant you your wish then do not ask for anything else?!’
He will cry: ‘I won’t!!! I promise, I swear by you Greatness I will not!’
And he will continue to promise and pledge not to ask for anything else, until he is brought to the Gate of Paradise. When he reaches it, he will look inside and see its vigor, charm and pleasure… but [remembering his promise] will remain silent. He will stay silent for a long, long time, then eventually [unable to bear any longer] will cry: ‘O Lord… please… please let me enter Paradise!!’
God will say: ‘You’re unbelievable! How treacherous can you get Son of Adam?! Didn’t you make all those promises and pledges not to ask for anything else?’
But the man will cry: ‘But Lord, please don’t make me the most miserable of your creation!’
So God, the exalted, will Laugh, and allow the man to enter Paradise.
Then God will tell him, ‘Make a wish!’
And the man will keep on wishing and wishing and asking for so many things until he can’t find anything else to ask for. Then God will help him out and remind him saying, ‘How about this… and how about that?’ And then, when the man is completely satisfied, God will say, ‘All your wishes will be granted… and doubled.
When Abu Hurayra finished narrating this prophetic saying, Abu Saeed interjected:
“But Abu Hurayra! The Messenger of God said, ‘All your wishes will be granted… and multiplied by ten!’
Abu Hurayra: “I only remember that they will be doubled.”
Abu Saeed: “No, no… [trust me]… they will be multiplied by ten!”

I read a Hadith about Fatima the daughter of the prophet , she said that her worship of Allah is not for the paradise that he has promised, or for the fear of punishment of hell fire, but because she owes him the gratitude .
Look deeper at Islam than just the material part.3 cans of tuna a day crew.
Finally figured out the headaches crew.

1. You don't seem to have read the Qur'an, it clearly states the only source of peace is worship in God. This will be a part of the next life too, atleast, it'll be very natural unline here where you sometimes have to make an effort.
2. Because these things help people
I mean wtf is a teenage dude supposed to do when he can't even look at a woman wrong lol? The promises as such help. And there's nothing wrong with them either.
Also its spelt "Muslims"Don't know what to put in my sig crew

Shukr (thankfulness) is the complete opposite of kufr (ungratefulness) so regardless of whether that hadith you recall having read is accurate or not, I do understand it's context, but I am more familiar with this concept or compartmenalized idea of faith and belief being attributed to Rabia Basri, the famous female sufi of Iraq and I've never heard it coming from Fatimah Al Zahra, that isn't to say she may not have said it, Allahu Alim.
Regardless, Allah orders man to desire Paradise in the Qur'an and he describes some of the treasures of Paradise as desirable things that man might strive for them. This understanding from the Qur'an superceeds any majestic ideas of faith following it.
Muslim's aren't taught to have a 'Walking With Jesus!' concept of Heaven like 'some' Christians have been.Last edited by IbnKutub; 10-27-2014 at 03:56 PM.

Irrelevant after it's established that the desire for Paradise itself is paramount and encouraged in the Qur'an which defuses the concept that the desire for something other than Paradise (or its treasures as described in the Quran and Sunnan) is somehow ideal or in line with a deeper concept of Islam. It's not.
That's all I was pointing out.
False piety is a problem in Islam and lets not have any of that.
