Hi all, a lot of people I know who are slightly over weight take fat burners, spend 50 odd euro a month on them, but I want to know are they wasting their time. If you have a high body weight percentage say 18+ (from calipers) are they worth doing? I mean would it help at all? Surely you'd wanna do 12% or below to help shift that stubborn fat that you can't get rid of, isn't that the purpose of fat burners?

I like fat burners, I feel they have helped me with energy as well weight loss directly and indirectly ( appetite suppression ). There are some very effective ingredients like Yohimbine, Ephedra and caffeine.
Lost somewhere around 90# or so before I started to use fat burner's, and am now 162# down and still using them.

Your certainly not going to get much benefit if your diet/nutrition is not spot on, but provided you got that down it can help a lot.-- Microwaves everyday crew --

they can be helpful tools, but many users want to be able to literally see results they can directly attribute to a fat burner in order to feel good about the product, i.e. "I started taking product X and now I can see my abs" but unfortunately at higher body fat levels that's not going to be possible, so if you're considering using a fat burner and you aren't super lean, look for something that can deliver benefits like energy and appetite suppression and mood improvement or a GDA

Mostly use fat burners for the feel good effects. If you are cutting, may look for one that offers some appetite suppression to help you get through the day, but don't expect to see crazy fat loss just because of adding the fat burner to your supplement lineup.
