USA Today's Lindsay Jones considers it "very unlikely" that Wes Welker will play in Week 2, despite the NFL's new drug-policy agreement.
Keep in mind Jones is a former Broncos beat reporter. Welker has been cleared from his preseason concussion and his suspension will ultimately be reduced, but Jones notes he hasn't gone through a full practice with the Broncos since August 16. It'd be a major stretch to expect him to suit up on such short notice. Still, Welker drafters will probably end up looking smart. He should be an every-week WR2/3 by as soon as Week 3.

I'd leave him on the bench for this week

PT is a decent player for bye weeks. He'll catch a few passes, run for a few yards. Nothing spectacular but very solid

well I think im gonna just go with hunter at the flex and keep asiata on the bench for now. I am so tempted to start him, but I can see hunter definitely getting a TD this week

Can't imagine Welker playing or - in the event that he does - getting many snaps after such a long layoff.

Gordon is a tough one. Really depends on league size, bench size and whether you think you can waste that roster spot for 11 more weeks.

if my team is struggling to make the playoffs and needs space, i might consider jettisoning him

I'd rather have Bradshaw. Maybe Greene as well. Asiata, not sure. MJD is pretty crappy, probably half of the guys you just listed will prove more valuable long term.

Patterson is the best player on the Vikings now and they'll need him involved to stand a chance against the Pats. Marshall and Jeffery are questionable to play
