Hello all,
I started a bulk 15 or so weeks ago and I've been stuck at the same weight for about 3 weeks. I managed to put on over 20lbs but my bodyfat went up 4%. I am 5'7 to give you a visual.
Started at..
158lbs
11% bodyfat
30" waist
Now at 180lbs
15% bodyfat
38" waist
My question is.. When should I start a cut? I'm starting to think I should do 10 week cycles. 10 week bulk, cut until desired bodyfat, 10-12%, rinse, repeat.

You bulked too fast bro, do not bulk faster than 0.5lbs a week, bulking 1lb a week is retarded as at least half of that is guaranteed to be fat (besides the initial water weight gain).
Personally I wont go above 18% bf on a bulk, but ive been 30% bf in the past so my body is never gonna create any new fat store cells. If you have never been that bf% before than dont go to it, you dont want to create extra cells because they are then with you for life.
Just slow it down next time skippy

it is in 15 weeks and considering you cant of gained more than 7-8lbs of muscle, you want to at the very least gain more muscle than fat on a bulk IMO.
Thing is, the slower you bulk, the longer you can bulk for, the more muscle you can build before your bf% gets too high that you have to cut and the less frequently you have to switch between cycles (which messes with your hormones).
its just so much more optimal

You put on 22lbs in 15 weeks? That's not bad necessarily, assuming a bunch of it was water at the start, food intake etc, probably around 15lbs of real mass gained,
Of that maybe 6-8lbs, rest is most likely fat.
What alarms me is your waist went up 8 inches, I've put on over 30lbs in the last year and my waist has only gone up 2 inches.
If you feel fat, cut for a bit.
