Here's my entry - Bench has always been my second weakest of the Big 3 (my Arms and Legs are LONG - I was built to Deadlift ).

Rounded up to 175 - got 17 reps.

Great first entry. Did my sample vid after my working sets as well. Remember, you can enter more than once as long as you stay in the same weight class. 15 will be hard to beat for the big boys. I assume the higher the weight the lower the reps but time will tell!

Will do! To be honest the one I'd be most concerned about is Vann Brah - dude is insanely strong for his size.

I'll record my buddy today and post it up and we'll see how it goes. I'm just glad he isn't in my weight class, he's only 20 but built like a redwood.

Video coming in a few hours. I weighed 214.8 this morning, so I'll do 215. Figures, I've been weighing 210-212. I'm on week 3 of 5/3/1 and probably shouldn't stray from the routine, but I'll hit up the bench for reps, take a good rest, then hit my 5/3/1 sets. Yeah boyyyyyyy.

So then I did my regular 5/3/1 workout for this week. I did 5 reps with 220, 3 reps with 250, then repped out with 280. To my surprise I was able to get 6 reps with 280. Last week I finished with 265 for 7.

I think the hardest part is establishing a baseline - I had no idea how I could do going into it, I think if we give it a second shot we could get more. I'll commit to 20 next time (+3) and you commit to 22 (+2) - deal?

I did a trial run today at bodyweight and was able to get in to the twenties. I didn't go all out because I did not want to push too hard and exhaust myself before hitting upper body power today. (Hit 6 reps with 100 pound dumbbells!)

I will hit chest and arms hypertrophy on Tuesday, so I will bring someone to record me then and I'm shooting for at least 25 reps.
