weight disparity: bb row and bench press

bb row 145, bench press 200. is this problematic? currently on SL 5x5.

had read from another poster somewhere your bb row and bench should be as near equal as possibly. and i know others say dont compare yourself to anyone.

should i allow time for my bb row to advance for any reason? otherwise im having no issues advancing my bench.

For now, it is not a big deal...after 6 months of SL 5x5 it could be. The chances are that your history lifting was significantly more focused on chest than back...specifically bench more than rows. In time, your bench progress will become slower and/or you will have to reset sooner with the bench and your rows will catch up. You should see linear progress on SL but your BOR line should become steeper as you gain experience doing the lift that you likely did not do nearly as much of in the past.

at first i was the same b/c i benched more than rowed. but eventually my bench slowed and my rows kept improving and now they're close to each other after time
