I have the VRSF dp on my 335i now. Best bang for the buck dp on the market imo. Had to trim a little for mine to fit though.

Buy used. If VRSF is your preference, look for the revised "V2" downpipes, much better fitment. Or, try BMS' downpipes, heard nothing but good things, and Terry knows how to make the power.

Anyone drive both a F10 5 Series and a F30 3 Series?

I know the 3 Series is more sporty but from what I've read, the 5 Series feels more "solid." I like that the 5 Series comes with HIDs standard and LED tail lights (good luck finding a CPO 3 Series with HIDs when the lease specials out there mostly have halogens).

Depends what you want out of the cars, I thought they both drove like ****, rubbery steering, isolated, bloated, numb. 320i loaner, and 535i were my sample studies. If you just want the badge and CPO, it'll be fine. Get a 320i because the mpg is impressive for how big that tank is.

Brahs, I got a new F30 3 series in jet black. Sport line.

Everything is stock but I'm wondering if to paint the grill surrounds black. Based on pics, on one hand it looks sportier but on the other hand it seems like one big black space in the front of the car without much detail.

There aren't many F30's where I live and most are white. I haven't seen one with black grill to compare.

Getting a free e34 on Monday. A 1991 520i Euro spec. Girl I'm getting it from ran it hot and thinks she blew the motor but it started up and moved no problem a few hours later. Can't beat a free car.

Got the bug to come back to a BMW. Had an e46 323i about a year and a half ago. Sold that and have been driving my dads chevy s10 which is on its last leg. Trying to decide if i should go for another e46 330i ZHP package for 9k, or go with the 128i for 18k ish. Any info on the 128's?

Thats the one I'm looking at right now. Looks like that Vanos has been done already too. Gonna see if he has Maint. records and get a PPI done to make sure the rear subframe, cooling system, etc will be good.

Coal man do it. I'm a fan of little mods because it makes it stand out. Lots of basic 3 series out there

Buy some blue masking tape, tape it around the outsides and put some paper on the actual grill fittings. Plastidip it, 4 sprays or so. Let it dry 15 minutes in between. Make sure it's cleaned before + decent weather. If you don't like it you can always go back.

I'd look into changing those amber reflectors on the front bumper. You can get black ones that match your paint and it'll give you a much much cleaner look. Quick n easy install

I've had these M5 side skirts in storage because of all the snow. Hope I can install them this weekend

I'm carrying it to my paint guy tomorrow to match it with the car color. I have a euro-spec car since I'm in the caribbean so I already don't have the amber reflectors

08 535i brahs, gonna do my fuel injectors this weekend, all six new ones, valve cover gasket and program the injectors.

the indy shop told me it will be around 3k to get it all done

I spent about 1000 for parts, saving 2k hopefully.

You can either plastidip them and then coat them with black glossifer or just buy new set of grills from modbargains it'll be cheaper than getting it done by your paint guy.

Lol calm down guys above who have never worked on your car before. That means your pads are down to the 3mm limit. It gets dangerous around the 2mm and 1mm limit, so if it will take you one week to get it fixed then no big deal, but I wouldn't put it off too long.
