2. Oreos did how much in global sales $ in 2014? $2.1 billion
3. The number of U.S. presidents who did not have a college degree 14
Answer the question jerks!
1. Favorite type of pie From the varieties I've tasted, pumpkin has to be my #1 choice. Apple pie is a very close second.
2, Create your own pie A rich mixed berry pie (raspberry/blackberry/blueberry) with each berry having its own layer, if possible.
3. Would you ever vote for a president that didn't have a college degree? Why or why not? I would. Knowledge is very powerful, but having a college degree doesn't necessarily mean you have the skill set and political experience to be a good President, and vice versa. It's about progress, not perfection.
I'm not an expert when it comes to most aspects of life; sometimes, I have no idea what I'm doing. The more I learn, the more I can do, and the more I can pay it forward and help others.

1. Apple pie (so cliche)
2. Custard type tart pie, with pecans would be mad
3. Yes, college or university (over here) is like getting a parking ticket, anyone can do it.- If you can't explain it simply, then you don't understand it well enough.

Dave,
I never met you in person but I was still deeply saddened when I received news of your passing.
For any of your reading this, I found out after doing some digging that D4K actually passed away from leukemia on July 14th. Never once did Dave mention a word of this to me on the forums, through PM, or even by email once I started working at M&S and he started writing some articles for us. A true testament of his internal strength, selflessness, and immense love for helping others.
If you guys want to learn more, you can read here: http://obits.dignitymemorial.com/dig...ID=5737&view=3
I only wish that I had gotten the chance to meet you and personally thank you for all that you did for me through these forums, you're one of the main reasons I'm still here to this day. You won't ever read this but I hope that others may see it and see the kind of example you set.
I hope and pray that I will have the courage to stand strong in the midst of any tough circumstance as you did.
I miss you already buddy but I know that one day I'll see you again, rest in peace.Last edited by MikeWines; 07-22-2015 at 11:52 AM.

I'm saddened to hear this news. I truly loved your passion for food and you always seemed like a great guy.
I donate to cancer several times a year especially since it hit home several times in the past few years but this next pay check I get I will be making a small donation, whatever I can, in your name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society here in Long Island. You will be missed.

This forum mourns the loss of it's brother. Your spirit lives on through those you have helped, etched into these boards (and carved into the world outside)... Forever remaining in order to help those of who are in search of answers.
Forever a beacon of light in a world filled with misinformation. You shall be remembered fondly by us.
Journey forward, wise friend.
