Hello, my name is Markie Castro ( obviously my SN ) lol...
Okay do I will get to my question.
I am currently looking into protein shakes or any type of shake to take as a mean replacement. I don't knoew anything about fitness, hence the fact I am writing you guys for help, and i've never been this heavy in my life.. :/ I'm really depressed and could use some motivation if anyone has some to offer...
Back to my question.. I don't want to get rigged for my money & end up buying a supplement that is not going to help me in any way.
If any of you know what I should do or take i'd be really happy.
Thank you!

It depends what your dieting lifestyle is. Meal Replacements are much higher in Calories and would fill you up pretty well. Just regular whey protein will not fill you up due to its low kcal content. You can always rough it out and remain hungry until your next meal though. You won't die, I promise.
Personally, I would rather substitute all those kcals from meal replacement proteins and get the kcals from actual food instead (just personal preference). Whatever you want to do.LOL at these ****gs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

Her goals are obviously to lose weight as she stated lol.
As other people have been saying you should head Here and calculate your macros. Once you do this subtract 500 calories so you're eating at a deficit. If you want to save money, don't buy protein and put it into food. Diet and exercise will make you lose weight faster and move effective then any supplement. Best of luck.

You need to get on a good meal plan and you fit in shakes where you find it hard to have a meal. I's just a convenient way to fit in your macros. Typically people have them post workout. Any shake will do but my favorite is Controlled Labs ProNOM, chocolate tastes like swiss miss hot chocolate

As far as a diet .. eh I'll be honest. I didn't get up to 250lbs dieting. I'm trying to make a complete change.. I just don't know what to do
I only know bad habits and that's the truth. I never eat breakfast because I sleep so late.. because I get off so late from work. I don't have a set schedule so I eat at different times. I know I have to cut out fast food ( biggest problem for me )
I just need help all around :/

Bro, rule number 1, skipping meals will not make you fat, especially breakfast! That's total myth. Rule 2, eat at a caloric deficit. If you want to lose weight even quicker, combine caloric deficit with a ketogenic diet. Rule 3, you don't have to cut out fast food to lose weight. I was able to drop weight eating "dirty" meals comprised of fast food, cakes, and other sweets.
You will have to be extremely patient though. You're at 250 lbs. It took me 4 months to go from 188 lbs to 161 lbs on an extreme caloric deficit of 1000+ kcal per day (total kcal consumption per day was at 1700 to 2000 kcal), and I wasn't even obese at 188 lbs, rather more like slightly chubby.LOL at these ****gs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

You don't have to cut out fast foods or anything. All the advice you need has already been given. You need to calculate where your calories need to be at, and as stated already it's going to take a while. Weight loss and muscle gain are marathons, not a sprint it takes a while. It can be easy to lose motivation when not seeing results as fast as you'd hope but in the end it's all worth it. As for not eating breakfast that's not a big deal. Many people do an intermittent fast, which is 16 hours of not eating, 8 hours of eating. This means no breakfast. Like I said before, you need to calculate your macros and stick to it. It's not going to happen in a day, week, or even a month. But once you make dieting and exercise a habit it'll stick.

Like some of the posts above, familiarize yourself with proper nutrition and find out how many cals you need to reach whatever goal you have in mind. Supplementing with protein powder is a convenient way to help keep your protein intake up and a great choice if your not hungry. Real, clean food is the way to go though. Betancourt Nutrition's Big Blend is a great protein blend for you to check out.....
