I have 7 feet four inches of ceiling... Ive been working out off and on and i really want to get back to it. I like to go heavy and hard in rack pulls so... I want something that wont fall apart. I will never squat or dead 900 lbs but I want to live through it if I'm squatting 300 for reps or 500 for a single. or 500 for reps. I don't care about lat pull down or any thing like that. thank you for your help. I really want to change my life and this is a great place to start. I have a Safety Squat bar that I rock out with and I am getting a dead squat bar that is rack-able.

no promising results in craigs list. I payed 2300 for my car so I dont want to pay more than that for non moving equipment but really a grand prolly but if I see something really nice I can go above that but I don't want to. I just want something that has my back for sure.

Your in a great area for picking up used equipment if you are patient. However, with only 86 inches you may have to modify a commercial piece. I'd just keep an eye on Craigslist in Cincinnati and Columbus.
I don't know if Rouge or Sorinex will modify the height of their racks, but that might be an option.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #39 ▪█─────█▪

Rogue offers a "shorty" version of their R-3 rack which is only seven feet in height.

You are a small hike from Columbus, but I agree with dumb.bell that the Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus area is an awesome CL area for equipment. This was posted in the CL section just the other day, this stuff comes up ALL the time. Just keep your eyes out for something that fits your needs. So find something you like and head to C-Bus, then stop by the Hollywood Casino to make it worth while

You have a bunch of choices out there even well under a thousand. Pretty much anything but the low level entry level will do what you want. You just have to decide what features are important and how much overkill you want to go with.
My based out Body Solid GPR 378 will do everything you say you want and is less than seven feet tall but it is not about to be mistaken for a commercial piece and it has no bells or whistles. For me compact in height and depth plus free standing were more important than weight storage, monkey bars, or band pegs.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No. 11
