Maybe in America but I doubt they listen to ***** Mane in Iraq. My point is, the lyrics are meant to be enjoyed ironically. Rap promotes violence, narcissism, sociopathy, psychopathy and misogyny. It's not meant to be taken seriously but so many people do. Especially in urban areas. I've met lots of people who try to emulate that lifestyle but fail miserably.

Its kinda branching off into a sub genre of hip hop. Ive heard it called "club music" due to its simplistic chanting. Its ment to be enjoyed while drunk and dancing, not to be listened to for its own sake. Its background music.

Get rid of rap music entirely bc a few uneducated young ppl take it too literally? Being from a fairly high crime area, ill tell you right now that like 95% of criminals did not get into crime as a result of rap music.
