Fda still shillin' big for big pharma

Most people have heard about the FDA's misconduct and realize that it has conflicting interests. First they wanted to prevent P5P from being sold as a dietary supplement. Now they've moved on to resveratrol. I don't mean to be alarmist (we still have P5P for now), but our access to some ingredients we use for health and fitness may become restricted very soon.

if you just knew how the big pharma regulate things here in norway.. nothing is legal. even melatonin. (cant buy it as "supplement")
presciption is needed to get it from pharma

That's a shame, and hopefully it doesn't happen here.

Who cares? There is nothing that any of us can do against the FDA and pharma companies. They will continue to conspire to take all the novel ingredients off the market and restrict for pharma only, or prohibit completely. Not even if all the supplement buyers banded together could we compete with the billions that pharma gives to FDA and the government. This is nothing new, and it will continue to happen whether we like it or not.

There's no point in even caring. We will either continue to buy what's available OTC, or seek black market means. Such is the way of the world and economics/government.
