I can see where you are coming from, but in terms of definitions they are definitely separate things. You will always make money with arbitrage, but you can lose money with advantage play. No I tend not to bother with the 30x WR, especially since blackjack normally only counts for like 1-5% of this anyway. I will do things like play £10 on a slot for £10 bonus (wager £100 to release). With low stakes on the initial £10 then higher stakes on the bonus money to try and win big and then grind out. Have had a few x200+ stake wins.
For bet365, I would actually advise against doing their 4/1 offer. I have been limited here and can not take part in any bonus offers because I hit this offer over a few weeks. Their £50 bet for £50 SNR on big matches, and 100% deposit bonuses up to £1/200 at the start of the season are much more valuable and worth keeping an account for. If you are going to do the horse offer, I'd also only add 0.6 onto the back odds, as winners usually highlight your account and so if you do hit winning horses, you will have won more.

Check the terms and conditions of the offer. On memory yes you need to deposit then bet. I would read up more about it if I were you.. Once you get the free bet you will need to be putting down around £300, which is a lot of money if you are unsure what you are doing. I'm off to watch the football anyway.

2k pls go. Did this when i lost my job and made £500 which is the average people make these days. There is a website which will identify bets for you and step by step take you through each offer - easy as pie and best of all - they guarantee a refund if the bet goes tits up and you followed their instructions. Had a piece in The Times a while back which made me sign up. Check it out UKers: http://www.fixtheodds.com?ARAFID=2275 (yes my referral code - gotta get some love for sharing the wisdom nomsayin).

Makes it easy, and sends you email reminders when your bet is settled and can continue with your offer so you can do many at a time and it'll keep track of them. and it doesn't take commission either, nor a sign up fee - wat?
And when you go to sign up to new bookies, it'll fill out most of the form for you (with the information you entered when signing up to FixTheOdds) (dont think this works on firefox though).

You can make almost 500 from 2 sites alone (paddypower and bet365) £250, £200 and £50 Mobile bet. Following fix the odds will have you miss out on these offers. Go ahead and use fixtheodds for your first bet to get the hang of it but there is much more money to be made by doing it all yourself.
There are more £100 + offers for people who have larger bankrolls, from obscure sites that most people will never have heard of

Join fixtheodds and itll take you through it bro - http://www.fixtheodds.com/?ARAFID=2275
Even if you are genuinely retarded, it's hard to mess up. It tells you what offers are available, the amount of return you will get, and will take you through it page by page.
FTO has the bet365 offer, which is high input (£200) but requires you to roll over your winnings 5 times or until you strike out at bet365.. each time the profit will drop unless youre putting in big money on each bet and get some good luck on what bets are available. Also has paddypower one but when i signed up they were only offering £50 so i dont know how that one works.. but id imagine more rollovers at certain odds with stake not returned.. for me, i didnt want the effort of working out what to bet on and using different site calculators with changing markets.. having a 'fk what do i do' moment when i suddenly cant match £200 at betfair because the market changed and having to punch in to an excel spreadsheet what ive done hoping itll give me the answer. FTO will solve those problems without any thought.

Sitbh cheers for the info pal, hopefully that is a reference you gave me because if it works then thats good times for both of us haha. What kind of time frame do you think it would take to make around 400-500? Got a student loan in at the moment and im willing to play with a bit of it tbh.

My understanding is:
(odds are 2.10)
-Bet £50 on Labrokes or other bookmaker on team to win
-Lay just over £50 on Betfair on same team
-Then either win Ladbrokes bet resulting in £100~ in account but lose lay so that deducts my Betfair £50, meaning that I break even at my original £100 but have a free £50 bet -OR- Win lay and receive £100 but lose the Ladbrokes £50 and still get free bet.
What do I then do with the free bet to start making guaranteed money? and is there any restrictions before I can withdraw
I think I understand the first part its just what I do after it seems to confuse me
