For the record, I love deadlifts. They are responsible for the body that I built as of now, but one major issue is the after effect of the exercise. Recently I was repping 405 for 4 sets and noticed my face would break out in acne and every pore on my body was red and inflamed. I reduced my deadlift to 405 for 2 sets and then moved down in weight for more reps. However, no matter what I do i always seem to break out during the lift. My face looks like a nuke has been dropped on it for about 3 days. Is there any way to prevent this from happening, or at leas reduce it to some degree?

"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon
