So I am 18 years old and have been lifting for a while. I want to eventually compete in a men's physique competition, but I don't know where to start as far as nutrition and change in training style. I know I need to lose around 8 pounds of body fat to be as lean as the mens physique guys are year round, and I still need to put on some more muscle as well. My guess is I should cut the fat and drop to around 9 percent (currently about 14) and then build muscle (slowly) while maintaining fat?
Any help on anything would be good.
