Sydney. It's the most visited city in oz and it's a boring shythole for the most part. All the infrastructure looks old and decrepid, the public transport system is truly awful like something from a third world country.

My experience with Americans..

They are generally friendly to foreigners, but with the lingering feeling of them thinking they are superior to you and you are just a poor little foreigner in their 'amazing' country.

As a whole though, I find Australia much more friendly in regards to respect for other people. On public transport here, people generally let others go first and have some kind of system where a few people from each side enter in turns .. In America, it was just a 'phuck you everyone else, i wanna get in/out first'.

Its the same in Canada. America and Canada we are both so multicultural that there is no sense of community. No1 gives a fk about each other, hell I don't even know a single neighbor's name and I have like 40 different neighbors at least right next to me.

Slovakia-visited many cities,people very very rude,they ignore you on purpose and racist,capital really nice though.

Haven't traveled much but don't go to Ukraine or Russia. Mostly poverty and drunks everywhere. Also police are useless and corrupt as fk. Only positive is everything is dirt cheap. Bottle of Vodka 1 dollar, Liter of coke 50 cents, etc.

There is a big misconception about LA. Many relate everything south of the Grapevine down to San Diego as all being LA. In general, many, not just foreigners but Americans as well think all Southern California is all LA. LA has something for everyone. It all depends on your taste. The one thing I despise about LA is the traffic. If you are a foreigner and want to get around the LA, good luck. In some areas it takes me an hour to cover less than 10 miles,lol. In the LA area, I find Hollywood people to be friendly towards foreigners. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica are filled with jerks. Unlike the movies, there is no nice looking hookers willing to give you directions.


I agree with the Italian and Sicilian remark. Went to Northern Italy and Southern Italy. People are rude in the tourist areas. I think the locals are fed up with tourist and just ignore them. If you go to the non tourist areas, people tend to be much friendlier. I was surprise to find out many in Italy also speak Spanish and French in Northern Italy. Northern Italy is much cleaner than Southern Italy.

It used to be better, now the North is still ok, but no one in my family would visit the south, the mafia controls everything, from the local shops to the junk / recycling / treatment industries, they're literally the 1st employer in some cities

Too many beggars, gypsies, tourists get overpriced everything...
If you want to visit Italy, go see the main monuments, then get the heck out of there, that's what happens when ALL the country runs on tourism, France comes as a close 2nd
