Ok, this will be a permanent, long running log. I keep making journal names that end up becoming irrelevant, so this title is something that will always speak true.
Goals
Short term - Bulk to 250 and compete in a push/pull in March at 242 and total 1250 raw.
- Start squatting again.
- Beat BSJ at C4C 2013
- Keep better track of my workouts and nutrition.
Long Term - Compete at 275.
- Bench 600+ raw in a comp.
- Total 2000 raw.
I will have a ton of videos and keep this log fun and exciting. I enjoy getting comments in here, so dont be shy boys and girls! Especially girls.

Today was the last session in Fortis! Tomorrow is moving day, so between anticipating the agony of moving the gym, and fighting a cold, I kept todays session pretty pathetic. Pulls felt great tho. I was working on getting my hips lower at the start of the pull, and I think I did that well.
We will be training at a commercial gym for a couple weeks while I close on my house, and the next time you see Fortis it will be in a new location! Im very excited about it.Last edited by dan_g_28; 09-29-2012 at 11:39 AM.

We worked out at an LA Fitness today... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. OMG it was miserable. The benches sucked. The bars sucked. Everything sucked. Yea that's me! I called out ZMC on a "bro spot" and made a spoof video about it. So it turned into a joke after that.
I usually work out at home, but I'm in the process of moving so that's why we worked out at LA. So I don't normally have access to a HS machine. Typically on my ME day I don't do a secondary pressing movement, but right now I'm just kind of winging it. Today we went to a Powerhouse Gym. They didnt let us train for free, so we had to pay Id say it was as bad, or even worse, than LA Fitness was. They had 6 smith machines, and not ONE power rack. LOLOL. We did see something hilarious tho, apart from the typical half squats and invisible board benching... Some dude was doing tricep pressdowns and he thought he was SO JACT and using SO MUCH WEIGHT that he had a dip belt on with a 45 lb plate around his waist to weight himself down. So when you say closing on the house, do you mean you're buying a house? One of my best friends is from Michigan and she just got back from a trip there and said her uncle sold his house for only $3000 because it was in a bad neighborhood of Detroit so he could move to the burbs. No, not kickbacks. I can't link a vid because I'm on my phone, but youtube "dumbell rollbacks" and they should have some vids on there. Its basically a lying db tricep extension that aren't real strict. I really like em. They're definately in my normal accessory rotation.
Yea I'm buying a home in a suburb of Detroit. Home values in the city of Detroit are an absolute disaster. I've seen homes for < $5000. Its unbelievable.
