It's crazy little critter that fo sho!
The availability of credit made it possible for so many people to live beyond their needs. The bankruptcy rate lately has been crazy.
I've had some pretty tough situations, currently in one now but I'm not blaming the government. At one point I was unemployed from 2008-2010, applied everywhere with no luck, I knew the situation for what it was, companies afraid to hire because of the economic crash and they would prefer to hire people with less experience to pay them less and not have to schedule full time hours. Was this the governments fault? Not entirely, I agree that bad policies going back decades came down to an explosive crash. Companies were looking for anyway to save a buck because they did not know what would happen with economy and once ACA was passed it became worse. Was this right? Yes and no, they were trying to protect the business and the employees they had left, well most companies.
Instead of having a poor me the government sucks and that's why I can't get a job, I decided to go back to school. I've had to take out student loans to live on and I accept that I will need to pay those back, the government owes me nothing in that regard. The only thing I took advantage of during that time was unemployment and only because I have been paying into that system for over ten yearsIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

This is so true. The lenders in the mortgage industries had so many schemes they used to make it look like people could afford housing it is mind blowing. When we had to become licensed to even take a mortgage application after all this went down we had an entire section in our study guides which went over some of these and to say I was shocked is an under statement. I mean they had people sign quit claim deeds the same day they closed on mortgages so that when the foreclosure was the only option they did not have to go through attorneys to complete the foreclosure process. I mean really?
Any person with common sense knows what they can and cannot afford so it is not just the fault of these lenders... it was the consumers too. I am going to buy a $500k house I cannot afford and live there until they foreclose so I can look like I have lots of money. I just don't get it! Then they want to turn around and b*tch about losing their home! If you make $5000 a month and your payment plus insurance is $4000 uh... you can't afford it.**DIRTYSOUTHCREW**

I do not live beyond my means. I have money saved. I have retirements accounts as well. I do not have problems paying my bills.
That being said when the government controls how much of my paycheck I see and how much I spend on health insurance I have a problem not saying the govt directly affects me.

More people should do that seriously. I wish I would have had my eyes opened a lot sooner but at least now I know and thanks to the previous situation this one isn't nearly as bad, tough but not as stressful.
Anything forced by federal regulation such as tax and now healthcare, yes its affects most of us to be sure.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Dana- that happened to me too. One ran across my windscreen and I had a moment of panic trying to work out whether it was on the inside it outside. Thankfully outside!!

I hate spiders, snakes, and scorpions. Unfortunately they are everywhere around here. I have killed two scorpions in the basement this week where I lift. I am getting paranoid down there when I pick something up. Will be glad when they have gone away completely for the winter.

I like spiders too. Outside our house there are a lot of spider webs and spiders about the size of a quarter. Sometimes I'll catch moths and throw them into the spider web to feed my pet spiders.
They are almost all gone now since it's getting colder
I don't mind them being there, but the first sign of a spider bite and they'll go bye bye.Transformation Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=170068283&page=1

Children DO NOT make good pets.
I have 2.
They are hard as hell to house train, you can't just buy a bag of food and be done with it and putting them in a kennel or on a leash is highly frowned upon.
Not only that, their life span is just ridiculous.
Talk about a commitment!DAYUM!!!
