What's up guys. Today was the start of my deload week.
What I did was two things.
1) I went with my 5rm that I ended my last week with and took 50%, 60% & 70% as my working weight.
2) Instead of doing 5x5 I just did 3x5 to cut back a little bit.
Nothing fancy and we all hate deloads but I know it's the smart approach. Here's a look at my workout from this morning.
12/10/12
Squat
135x5
165x5
190x5
Bench
105x5
125x5
145x5
DB bench
50x10
50x10
50x10
50x10
Kroc rows
60x10
70x10
80x18
*I dropped the Pendlay rows and went with Kroc rows instead.
DB shrugs
50x10
50x10

My progress was really good in my first 9 week run. I can't wait to get this week over to start another 9 week run.
Thanks Snake.
Trust me it felt boring haha. I had to throw in the extra work at the end to make it feel like it was a semi decent workout haha.My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

I remember not too long ago when that deload bench set wasn't TOO far from your actual 5 rep max. Killing it.

Just got a chance to watch those vids....SOLID
How about next time you go for 1RM on squats and deads you don't hit a 5 rep PR on the previous set so we can see what you've really got???? Showoff!!!!

I really like Kroc rows a lot.
I've definitely made some progress for sure man and it makes me excited to see what my 2nd 9 week run will bring.
Haha I can always count on your support buddy
I'm definitely not going to do 5 reps with my top set then go for a 1rm next time. Me showing off? NeverMy training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

Nice elite belt. Which one is that?
You need to break it in. The article below is for the economy one, but should work for this too:

Nice purchase Ant. I just bought a Forever Lever by Inzer and will use these tips. I've been rolling it up the last week or two but I haven't been nearly as diligent as I need to be. It's still so stiff to the point where it is barely usable.

i saw you were considering dropping OHP for incline. Bill Starr intentionally put the OHP in the routine for powerlifting/strength purposes. OHP does help your bench, as far as incline is concerned he put it in there for athelets in general.
