fuark, I am at that awkward stage of growing my hair out. that combined with 2 cow licks, I am having trouble. One day it styles like a boss, then the next I look like an asshole that fell asleep while getting ready. I need to either trim the sides, or just grin and bear it. ugh, hate this part.

but I know they have to fade the sides. Like for the lower half of my sides and back, they'll use a 1, and then when they get a little higher, they use a 2.

Yeah my beards terrible. I just wanna grow an epic beard once in my life lol.

I shampoo everyday, I just feel nasty if I don't. I use the purple aussie stuff. American crew fiber to style it.

Damn bro. I am feeling that feel currently. Hair comes down to above my eyebrows in front, which isn't too bad, but the sides and back are getting real sloppy looking. Hard to style it since parting down the middle looks goofy as **** on me, and i can't style the front up since it's too long now. Had to resort to parting it off center but my friends all tell me I look like Mac from Its Always Sunny lol.

Always had pretty thick hair but noticed 2 months ago some thinning on the front left (only noticed when it was wet). Didn't want to accept it but it hit hard when she noticed it (no one else has but me). My hair line isn't even receding though. Felt so bad, didnt even get a haircut.

What hairstyle would you guys recommend for that situation? Have oval face shape (verified by stylist) and need to maintain professional look.

well thats the thing, keep it high and tight, longer on top, and you have a ton of options to work with.

side note, since growing my hair out (just at the tip of my nose now lol) I have been getting compliments on the reg. Be it from mirin sloots, to older gals in the office, and even my grandpa. We were watching the niners game the other weekend and he stop mid sip of his bloody mary, "you know, I like your hair longer like that." Rewind about 15 years ago, I had long ass hair (skater/surf punk here...) and he was willing to pay me to get a buzz cut. feelsrewardingman.tif

My hairline is almost exactly like this, my measurement is a little under 3.5" up from eyebrows. Usually my stylist does the line a little more up, just so I can get a small peak in the center. The thinness starts about 2" back from the hairline, no sign of it at the hairline thank god.
