i think it will be epic nonetheless but i would like to see:
- darker more post-apocalyptic feel like that of fallout 3
- more character/gear/weapon customization
- sprint perk
- free roam after completing game (decisions you have made during story should influence the free roam world)
- more gangs less mutilated creatures
- better dialogue
- a level capping system like skyrim's so you arent able to be at like 100 skill points for basically everything. your character should have strengths/weaknesses.
pretty basic but id like to see what everyone else thinks

-world at least the size of skyriim
-make it more of a scary game like S.T.A.L.K.E.R
-More options for making a custom home base (i.e. a boat on a lake, underground lab, abandoned gas station, etc.) instead of just one or two options.
-use-based skills like borderlands
-regenerating patrols of bad guys like borderlands. by the time you finish half the sidequests in the fallout 3/4 the world feels empty.

-No more deserts or wastelands. That **** has gotten old. Let's change it up and go someplace with cliffy, forests, cities like Chicago or New York. Noimsayin?
-Free roam after ending.
-No more "special" weapons or armor. Keep everything on a level playing field where you can simply just repair them or upgrade them. Game was just too ridiculously easy after I got the Gobi Sniper Rifle. (New Vegas)
-Return to the better reward system that was in FO3. I played NV and got to probably level 25 before I could get to level 10 in FO3. NV just felt way too easy in general.STL Cardinals

Agree with a lot of what is said here. In terms of story/gameplay I hope it's more like Fallout 3 rather than NV. I felt in Fallout 3 it was focused primarily on the character moving through the wasteland and his reaction to what was happening outside of him as he was on his quest. In NV you were forced to choose sides and play one way or the other. I guess I'm more into the lone wanderer aspect rather than join an army and fight.

Make good weapons/armor less abundant and if you let something break then it breaks permanently or repairing it is very costly perhaps some that can't be repaired at all or not without doing something to earn it. Make ammo, money, drugs/stimpaks less abundant. Give ammo weight and don't give me access to infinitely large storage spaces too soon. My favourite part of all fallout games is the start when exploring is dangerous and you have to pay attention to ammo/supplies/weight and getting caught off guard or wandering a bit too much can mean a pretty swift death. End game free roam doesn't bother me, I liked the end of vanilla fallout 3. Most importantly give me some real temptation to be the bad guy other than money that quickly becomes irrelevant and make actions have consequence and not cop out like the Moira/ghoul thing in Megaton, if I do something I'll regret let me regret it lol. And more enemies that can be difficult without just being damage sponges.
Because if they don't they get raped like in Big Town.
