    IIFYM doesn't mean eating whatever you want. IIFYM also includes getting adequate fiber, phytochemicals, and vitamins/minerals. After you get your minimum of those in, you can spend the leftover calories on whatever you want.

    You can't be serious.

    What's healthy and unhealthy is essentially self evident, it shouldn't need any explanation. You can look at a box of poptarts and know it isn't "good" for you the same way you know apples are. Anything high in refined sugar is probably bad for you because they raise insulin levels, raised blood insulin levels depress the immune system. If your immune system is depressed then your ability to fight disease is weakened. Raised blood insulin levels can cause weight gain. Insulin promotes the storage of fat; so, when you eat foods high in refined sugar, you increase fat storage. The result, rapid weight gain.
