I eat alot of chocolate and i am far from strong.
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you're doing in the squat rack. If you are looking for advice, I can tell you I don't do curls. But what I do have are a very particular set of lifts; lifts I have acquired from Mark Rippetoe. Lifts that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you put down the barbell, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will squat you.

I heard Mexican and Cuban chocolate give the best strength gains while Ghana and Venezuelan chocolate may damage gains. Chocolate that had no positive or negative effects were Dominican, Tanzanie, and Saint-Domingue chocolates.
“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Sounds like broscience unless you misunderstood the context. This is a copy pasta on Chocolate Milk.
Post-workout chocolate milk is beneficial because of its protein content. Every cup contains between 8 and 11 grams of protein. Ideally, you’ll want to consume between 15 and 25 grams of protein after a workout, which equates to 500 to 750 ml of chocolate milk.
Also, a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that, when taken immediately after exercise, milk-based proteins promote greater muscle protein synthesis than soy-based proteins.
Finally, another reason why post-workout chocolate milk is beneficial is because cow’s milk contains about 80% casein protein content and 20% whey protein content. This is ideal because the whey protein is fast-acting, allowing amino acids to get right into the muscle tissue, while the casein protein is digested slower, providing a steady stream of amino acids over a lengthier period of time.

Jesus Christ, do people seriously drink chocolate milk after training?
I think Louie Simmons said something like "Stop drinking chocolate milk and learn about real nutrition" in regards to getting stronger. The numbers on the label sound great. There is plenty of USDA backed studies on how awesome milk is for you... keep in mind they are raising the cows you are getting it from.
Most of the people on Earth have some sort of lactose or diary intolerance or sensitivity. This causes a host of inflammatory repsonses and can totally trash recovery. Plus, all of these ideal ratio's that people talk about in milk sound great and everything but it is simply not enough protein and carbs.
The only plus is the boost in calories because most people don't eat enough to get stronger anyway. Chocolate milk after training is just lazy.

Chocolate has various anti-oxidants and other micronutrients. From a macronutrient perspective it's usually processed sugars and fats...so I really don't see why it's being touted as optimal.
Plus all the "Chocolate Milk vs. Surge" stuff out there is kind a joke (seriously a joke), just pointing out that Surge and other "recovery supplements" are about as effective as milk and corn syrup.
Just use logic for a second. If chocolate milk (milk + a little cocoa + corn syrup) is so great for you, why isn't milk better?
