Anyone else crave sweets like crack?!?

Had to rant for a sec... I have a hardcore sweet tooth, hence the 55lbs loss so far. But I keep falling off my diet or spiking my sugar levels. I've had no sugar today and I feel like I could rob a candy store.

How the hell do I get rid of these cravings?!? It's been over a year since I started working out..
    Starting Weight 255lbs. 2/1/2011
Best weight so far 187lbs 5/1/2012 - Then got a hot gf a boat and gained fat lol...
    Starting again for the finish line of 180lbs - 11/1/2012 @ 201lbs

I stopped keeping them in my house. Out of sight out of mind.

It's the only way I can do it. My work always has chocolate in bowls. I try my best to never walk buy them. It's getting easier with time. **Bites finger nails off**

The best thing to do is to always make sure you don't have a bunch of candy at home, if you have to go out of your way to get candy you give your willpower enough time to work.

I love chocolate. I could eat it everyday and twice on Sunday all day long. Never big a huge fan of hard candy though. Since I don't eat much chocolate at all anymore I find myself grabbing some hard candy that I would never touch before. I will have like a tootise pop about 20 mins before heading to the gym. I like getting the boost and the calories really won't kill my day.

Get a crew cut. Everybody knows a short haircut makes you look bigger. Really though, I suggest going all the way and shaving it off. Grow a goatee too. This will suffice during your hypertrophy-phasse till there's an 8 pack of hotdogs on the back of your neck.

    Eat some chocolate?

A Godiva milk chocolate bar is 200 cal ( I have a whole bunch in my fridge), an entire bar of Cadbury milk chocolate is 500cal ( I eat half at a time).
Just make some room in your macros for it.

    Excellent suggestion there.

That stuff saved me countless times from cheating back when I was cutting. It totally satisfies the sweet tooth and you can eat the whole thing without worrying about messing up your day. I used 1 cup of fat free milk and one cup of almond milk to cut on the calories a bit more. The almond milk makes it taste even better, actually.

*A stand mixer is greatly recommended for this recipe

2 boxes of Instant, Sugar-free pudding (It is VITAL that the pudding you get is INSTANT and not the dumb Cook and Serve type pudding. Be sure to check the pudding box, meticulously as packaging might look exactly the same except for a small label that says "Cook and Serve")
4 cups/2 pints/1 quart of cold skim milk
2 cups of Greek yogurt, I used 2%
4 scoops of protein powder, I used EAS 100% Whey Protein (23g protein/scoop)

    - In a stand mixer place the 4 scoops of protein powder. Then quickly add 1 quart of cold skim milk and turn on the mixer to a medium setting. I find that the quicker you add the milk and turn on the mixer the less chance there is of clumping.
    - After fully mixed, add the 2 boxes of pudding and continue to mix for about 2 minutes.
    - Add the 2 cups of greek yogurt and continue to mix on medium and escalate to high. Mix for about 2 more minutes.
    - After fully mixed and it feels thick enough, use a rubber spatula and push the pudding through a fine mesh strainer. This will remove any clumps that may have occured.

Produces about 1500g of pudding (remember I used 2% greek yogurt)
    Nutrition for all 1500g = 19g fat (10g saturated), 142g carbs (70g sugar, 5g fiber), 174g protein = 1500 calories
    Nutrition for 1/6th portion at 250g each = 3.2g fat(1.67g saturated), 23.7gcarbs(11.7g sugar, 0.83g fiber), 29g protein = 250 calories

I like to be very thorough
I consider this a double batch, because if you're gonna make some pudding why not make enough to last a while right? More food and less work makes Jack a happy boy.
I made two of these, one with chocolate pudding and chocolate protein and another with vanilla pudding and vanilla protein and both are amazing.

I cannot freaking wait to try to use this pudding to maybe make a banana split with whipped cream, toasted walnuts, and peanut butter sauce drizzle. OMFG BRB while I gorge.
I have also modified this recipe to use vanilla protein powder, raspberry sugar free jello, greek yogurt and skim milk to make Protein Panna Cotta. DE-****ing-LICIOUS. It's the same idea but you can't follow these directions, you have to follow the instructions on the jello package.

Also, I'm going to be experimenting and try to make a Protein Chocolate Souffle. Hopes are high.

Some people just don't want to hear the simplicity of it all, because then there's no excuse when they fail.

To the people who say "fit it in your macros", cals in is cals out I know but sugar does effect the way your body burns fat with insulin levels. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I really wished people would stop saying that. Unless you are diabetic your insulin is fine. If you are too worried, spend the $50 for a blood check set-up and see for yourself.

I got a meter with 100 strips free through a program and have been checking my sugar randomly twice a day (just because I can) - rock solid at 88-92. And I eat chocolate, white bread, pizza or whatever "scary" food you could think of.

I'm the opposite I only drink water , and tea when i'm not cutting , I have completely eliminated processed sweets from my diet ,with virtually no cravings ,the thought of cake or sugary stuff kind of disgusts me and almost makes me want to throw up, I watched somebody pour 700 hundred calories of sugar into there pitcher of tea the other day and I was flabbergasted and disgusting no wonder we have so many people with diabetes, I do eat low gi fruit and that satisfies me.
