yeah there are aboriginal communities set up with their own land etc, although many of these areas have high violence, high rape, high incest, high drug abuse, low life expectancy
pretty sad considering the violence is within the community against their own families/peoplei'm a real boy!

If you read guns, germs and steel ( a great book overall ) it will explain why people in Australia were unable to develop technology and then political groups.
There are several islands just above Australia where people migrated to and after several generations went backwards in technology due to the environmental factors.

The Australian Government tried to breed the black out of them, they where wiped out of Tasmania etc. They where treated like absolute **** so it's really no surprise how they act now and it's going to be very hard and take a lot of generations to turn it around. Saying that there are a few that are decent and work most of these are found up the North of Western Australia working on the mine sites but for some reason the one's in the city are not like that at all.
"The Stolen Generations (also known as Stolen children) were the children of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent who were removed from their families by the Australian Federal and State government agencies and church missions, under acts of their respective parliaments. The removals occurred in the period between approximately 1869[1] and 1969,[2][3] although in some places children were still being taken in the 1970s.[4][5][6]
The extent of the removal of children, and the reasoning behind their removal, are contested. Documentary evidence, such as newspaper articles and reports to parliamentary committees, suggest a range of rationales. Motivations evident include child protection, beliefs that given their catastrophic population decline after white contact that black people would "die out",[7] a fear of miscegenation by full-blooded aboriginal people.[8] Terms such as "stolen" were used in the context of taking children from their families – the Hon P. McGarry, a member of the Parliament of New South Wales, objected to the Aborigines Protection Amending Act 1915 which then enabled the Aborigines' Protection Board to remove Aboriginal children from their parents without having to establish that they were in any way neglected or mistreated; McGarry described the policy as "steal[ing] the child away from its parents".[9] In 1924,[10] in the Adelaide Sun an article stated "The word 'stole' may sound a bit far-fetched but by the time we have told the story of the heart-broken Aboriginal mother we are sure the word will not be considered out of place."[11][12]
Indigenous Australians in most jurisdictions were "protected", effectively being wards of the State.[13][14] The protection was done through each jurisdiction's Aboriginal Protection Board; in Victoria and Western Australia these boards were also responsible for applying what were known as Half-caste acts."***PMC - Where Amazing Happens***

The saddest thing about those pictures is the one where it's a bunch of little kids standing around the burnt flag. Here you have impressionable young kids who soak up everything from their elders and family and all they do is poison their kids with hatred. From an early age their already being taught to hate and shift the blame onto anybody but themselves. Why don't they take some fuking responsibility for a change? I got aboriginal family and **** and it's fuking shameful. All they do is bring you down with them so i try and associate with them as least as possible. I don't care if it's middle aged and elders that are doing that ****. Their lifes are already over and fuked up but why must they continue doing it to their kids and grankids. Than these motherfukers have the nerve to blame the Government and history and bleeding heart liberals wonder why **** never changes and use excuses like it takes generations to get over stuff. **** never changes because attitudes never change. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results!!!

Yeh it's unfortunate because if they had better role models they could actually become successful in their lives but they get corrupted from a young age. Like my aunty makes all my cousins under 10 steal groceries whenever they shop because she knows their under 10and can't get in trouble for it. She does the same thing in sports stores 2. Same as the attitude towards school is that education is fkn useless so it doesn't matter if you only go to school twice a week when you have footy that day etc.

everybody read the wikipedia page!
Australia Day protests 2012
On 26 January 2012 Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott were attending an event at the Lobby Restaurant when the site was surrounded by "about 200 protesters" who had arrived from the nearby Tent Embassy.[10] The protesters were angry at comments Abbott had made that morning in which he said that the Embassy may no longer be relevant. Gillard and Abbott were hastily escorted from the restaurant under the protection of police officers and during the scramble Gillard lost her shoe, which was seized by protesters. The Embassy's ******** page for a short time offered to exchange the shoe in return for rights to the stolen land, stating "Julia will be eligible to make a shoe title claim which will take approximately 20 years".
