Obama did exactly what all the GOP noms do, except he had the advantage of not being refuted on the spot and he has been able to watch them throw around ideas from an outside perspective and figure out which ones are well received and what isn't. He promised a bunch of stuff that sounds great to Americans and recapped everything that he did right. The man wants to be re-elected, he doesn't give a **** about you. Neither do most politicians for that matter.
