Alberto love the videos man keep them coming. Question though what changed so drastically between your shows that you can eat over double the carbs and be leaner. When it comes down to it it's calories in versus calories out. Did you eat different carb sources have less fat and protein to equal calories out or do different cardio for the shows? Please give me a hint because I hear people always saying they are leaner with more carbs and how they used to do I wrong but no one actually explains the different approach. Thanks for all your great knowledge you put out there for us it's much appreciated.

Your videos always make me want to go lift something heavy. It could be 2am, I'll be in my pj's, and I STILL want to go hit some PR's lol.

i never looked at bodybuilding in the mindset of i will only get and look better as i keep doing it . My mind was so stuck on now and wanting the physiques people build taking years of training right now which leads to dissapointment and doubt. Patience is what im learning and appreciating by hearing you guys and the approach you guys take .

Thank you, and yeah while prepping is hard, some of us make it harder than it needs to be.
Few more!
When I travel they go on my carry-on
Ha ha ha when I got them black and white were the only options sadly enough
Makes it easier if anything
Matches my hoochie gym shorts
More of those to come!
Simple I was carbs that were way to low the first time around. I change nothing other than I knock down some calories when I start dieting
Bah so you all ready saw what I am about to post
Thank you dude! Works as positive reinforcement to continue then! Weren't you suppose to start a cooking channel of some sort?
Yep! Felt that its not openly talked about enough, most guys will tell you that it was a simple decision to make and for many it might be the case, but the same can be said about guys that stopped for a minute when that big fork in the road came up
Might even getting weight room vid soon here
Good talking to you the other day dude, and yeah I was right there with you for a long time. The difference with me is that it took me about another 8 years before I understood what you are getting to now100% Natural Bodybuilding!

watched all these as they popped up on my youtube feed and have loved every one of them... quality info Berto. question: suppose you never were in contest shape, how would you suggest gauging how big to get in the offseason?

heck, the staying natural thing still becomes a question in my head on occasion. most recently when i tore my erector spinae (retore it a few weeks ago by the way), i posed the question to myself, what would help me recover faster? of course it was only a brief thought that was dismissed almost as quickly as it came about, but for some, those thoughts come back every once in a while. i was really close at one point, maybe 5 years ago. for me health reasons make it a lot easier to say no. since i already have an enlarged heart, i think it's safe to say, i wouldn't be around too long if i joined our brothers on the other side of teh game. looks and sounds fun and appealing at times, but it's just not for me.
i do like to hear people admit they've been very tempted, or very close to doing it, because it is not an easy decision for most people. some younger guys may think about it quite a bit, they should understand that's completely normal, and not an easy decision a lot of the time.CAN and WILL

Hey Berto, what other rows are you using other than cable and db? It seems like you aren't doing BB rows anymore? Is that to save your lower back for the squatting/deads or do you simply feel a better contraction with dbs and cables?
