Brown rice isn't tasty because there is no thrill in eating it. There is no risk/reward. Man wants to hunt, he doesn't want to be fed. Track/hunt/kill your next meal out of necessity and see what I mean. When you're near starving and you've been on the prowl for days, lean and desperate, hunger pangs driving you to use your instincts for the gruesome act of murdering some innocent woodland creature, then... then you'll know a tasty meal.

When I eat brown rice I usually mix it with the proteins I will be eating and season the hell out of it. Using salsa, soy or another sauce can make the difference when eating many boring foods. Get creative when eating the worst that happens is you don;t like it.
If you not feeling the burn your not pushing hard enough.

Try Kernal Season's Popcorn Seasoning...Kettle Corn, White Cheddar, Nacho Cheese, and Butter flavors are the best. In a 1/4 tsp serving there is only 1g of sugar. I used to do the soy sauce and other sauces all of the time. I tried these seasonings because they were in my refrigerator when I was out of sauce and didn't want to eat the rice plain and now I won't eat rice without them. It's worth a try.

what i sometimes do that kinda helps a bit is add a cup of low sodium chicken broth to the mix. for example, if i put in 4 scoops of brown rice into my rice cooker, i'll pour in 4 cups of water and then 1 cup of the broth. you can also pour in a little lemon juice also. but the broth really does help, i only use that in the off-season though, once i'm in pre-contest mode it's all water in there and some natural lemon juice.
