    Supersetting a bicep exercise with a bicep exercise is pretty pointless. The general point of a superset is to save time by working opposing muscles. what you're doing is just one big set, there isn't a huge physiological difference between two curls.

    I really enjoy pyramid sets and dropsets for some of the more compound lifts, give those a shot.

    Yes. Basically its 1 giant set till failure on each exercise, which are done consecutively. It works because I'm able to do more reps or weight nearly every single week.

    If you can do another curling movement immediately afterwards then you didn't go to 'failure' on the first exercise.


    There's no difference between doing one bicep exercise for as many reps as possible and doing one for a few, switching, doing another, switching, doing another.

    must admit I was expecting more jake, no idea why, I guess I just thought your previous avi looked bigger and you seem pretty knowledgable. But it is clear that in the two years you have made progress. Between the 8 month pictures I can see little difference. IMO you should keep bulking till christmas or so then cut or just do a minicut then resume bulking.

    There's no difference between doing one bicep exercise for as many reps as possible and doing one for a few, switching, doing another, switching, doing another.
    I go to failure on each exercise. Obviously I have to drop the weight in order to keep being able to do more reps but I just like the change in movements. Some allow for more cheating and others Target different aspects of the lift, like negatives for example. Yes, I could do just one big drop set, but this works for me.

Pro tip: Not everybody in this world is born with perfect genetics and starts with perfect stats and trains perfectly from day one. Not everybody in the world, even serious lifters, get to be 6'0 200 @10%. You're a delusional manlet if you honestly think that I'd be there in two years from my starting picture.

    Judging by the before pics I think this is a case of fairly poor genetics and a bad starting point, although Jake is obviously persistent despite this and he is making progress which just makes him that much more honorable. HC, you have to put things into perspective before making a judgement.
