My squat was at 75kg on May 27 after 9 weeks on the program (started at 25kg). The same night my press stalled at 47.5kg. I came on here and determined I wasn't eating enough, so I reset the squat back to 45kg and press back to 30 for the next workout. I increased my calories from 2600 to 3600 on the advice of people here. I'm 6'4", 185lbs, 24 years old.
(3600 cal, 324g carb, 239g protein, 160g fat).
That was 3 weeks ago. Since adjusting my diet I am getting a bit bigger, The scale isn't showing much yet but I can feel myself gaining muscle and fat. I figured this was a good sign.
Tonight, I went to the gym intending to squat 65kg, press 40kg and deadlift 65kg. Things have been going well since I reset. My squat was **** tonight and I got the other lifts done but everything felt unusually heavy and it made me think I'm on the path to messing it up again. I had been working on my squat form but now am having trouble with balance again and it feels like day 1 again for some reason. This is confusing and very discouraging because when I reset from 75kg I probably could have kept going, and now that I'm putting some weight on and I haven't even hit 75kg like before, my squat sucks again.
Is it possible I'm still not eating enough or could it just be an off-night? I wouldn't be so concerned but I am assuming week 12 & 65kg on a squat is FAR too early to be experiencing this.
Rip's instructional videos on youtube don't help me at all. His squat lesson about pushing from the small of the back doesn't make sense to me and because my legs are so long, my extra wide stance (is that ok?) prevents me from squatting like most of the average-height guys on youtube.
It seems to be an issue of balance for me. When my feet are positioned "properly" I definitely prefer one leg when I push back up. This goes away and I feel more balanced when my left leg is ahead of my right leg just by an inch or so. I'm thinking this could be from poor hip alignment or something, but anyways....
How should I proceed, and why am I feeling like there's nothing in the tank at such a light weight?
Thanks.

If you are having trouble with balance you probably have the bar too far back or too far forward. It should stay over the middle of your foot for the entire rep. Post up a video and we can check it - it is hard to pinpoint based only on your description.
Also, 2600 to 3600 calories is a huge jump. Were you losing weight at 2600? If so, at what rate?My Journal (RIP 05/11 - 09/13):

Thanks for the reply. I will try to make a video when I go back on Tuesday.
2600 cal was giving me a little definition in my arms only, but I wasn't putting on much size. I was either maintaining my weight or losing from week to week. Given my size, it was advised that I could be eating at least 3500 for a bulk so I went with it.
