I'm with you. I HATE board shorts mainly because my age. No thanks. I like mid thigh trunks, which I think are very masculine.
I don't have huge legs yet, but they're still big enough to show off. Short swim trunks are perfect for that.
If you're a teen or early 20, then boardies are appropriate, but older you get, the more goofy it looks.Chaos and apocalypse on us all

Don't own any boardshorts but srs thinking about getting some because of last statement. I hate that my swim trunks usually stop just above my knees and I definitely would love to buy some better ones. that go over my knees (but not further than that). Whatever, just motivation to get my legs more jacked I guess.
