true.
"You don't need to worry about the box jellyfish near Perth as they don't come this far south (they like the ocean much warmer) but if you're visting the far north of Western Australia then you need to be aware."
http://www.thisperthlife.com/2006/06...l_hazards.html
brb the only thing you need to worry about in Perth are sharks, and they have airplanes to spot them in.
"Perth has a shark spotting plane out every day during the spring, summer and into autumn which buzzes up and down the coast and if they spot anything then the surrounding beaches are closed until they are deemed to be safe."

Sydney is an exception cos it has a funnel web named after it.
Down here the worst spider to encounter is a huntsman. Redbacks are incredibly rare.
A woman in the US was recently torn to shreds by a pack of wolves whilst camping.
Its questionable whether a pack of dingoes would do the same to a full grown adult.
Brazil has the wandering spider, just as poisonous if not more poisonous than the Sydney funnel web and it resides in city areasR.I.P Darrel "Dimebag" Abbot, ...August 20, 1966 - December 8, 2004...you are a true ****in legend

religh? wtf, haha worst typo I've ever seen
Australia has roughly 70 F/A-18 Hornets and 15 Super Hornets. Also soon to buy some f-35 lightnings off the US. Also got 20 AP3C Orions.
Certainly not enough to go toe to toe with the bigger powers, not any country couldn't just walk in.R.I.P Darrel "Dimebag" Abbot, ...August 20, 1966 - December 8, 2004...you are a true ****in legend

wtf at tear and sweat drinking flies.
'The female bush flies pester you most. They want protein. They need it to develop their ovaries, to prepare eggs for the next generation of bush flies.
They get protein from your tears, saliva, the mucus in your nose -- and from blood, if you have any fresh cuts.
To be blunt, they are also hoping you might do a poo. Bush flies are programmed to stay around animals, because animal dung is their favourite place to lay eggs.
Sometimes they drink sweat. It hasn't got much protein in it -- not nearly enough. But it's useful if the flies are thirsty, and it has some minerals they can use."

1) those snails are mostly paralyzing. Meaning your muscles will completely seize for a few hours until teh **** goes out of your system. If you get stung by one of these mollusks make sure you get to a hospital in about an hour so they can put you on a respirator and youll live.
2) those spiders are pretty damn scary, however they cant bite unless that are able to "raise up" and come down onto you, like its putting its front legs in the air and then driving its fangs into you. You wont get hurt by them unless youre completely retarded.muh back

The good thing is that Australia has an extremely low fatality rate from spiders and snakes.
Countries like Brazil and India which are less developed and more crowded have WAY more than us.

But as for the actualy potency of the animals themselves, yeh we got it bad.R.I.P Darrel "Dimebag" Abbot, ...August 20, 1966 - December 8, 2004...you are a true ****in legend
