felt he could beat Dexter because he thought he was bigger
had a bad perception of Dexter who felt the same way about him but they connected backstage and liked each other
ate a lot more during his prep including rice and potatoes
did his diet and training himself
first meal after the show was two bowls of fruits, to rehydrate and because he craves fruit during his prep
will do the same thing and see day by day for the AC

Two bits of info not made public anywhere else... Engagement to his girlfriend and that she's expectin'... If he does the Olympia, in addition to being a bodybuilder he'll have to tackle arguably the toughest job in the world... Bein' a dad.

You didnt watch the videos were he bought a huge house and basically ripped the insides out and di the whole thing over? Wasnt going to be ready to move in to until after the Arnold. His parents are well of and have a big house themselves. With his lifestyle of bodybuilding he really didn't need his own place just yet but now with a familiy he'll have one after the Arnold all ready.

Very deep. It really hits home with some people who are going through a similar struggle. Not many people are at his level, but the competing year in and year out is not easy on people around you.

True, the more I learn about this guy, the more I like him, and I thought I knew enough about him in the past to make an opinion on him. He really seems to understand the important aspects of life, which surpass his profession. That is something we all can live by, no matter what occupation we hold. There are several guys out there whose physiques I like better than his (though he does have a good one). However, there are few I respect more and can learn more from.

Alright, enough of the philosophy talk, but I did want to say that I respect the hell out of the guy.

Man, were I ever so blessed as to build a sick dream house and life circumstances dictated that I could crash with my folks and save dough in the meantime, I'd jump at it. Seems like a no-brainer. Probably depends on the individual and that individual's family.

A lot of it probably has to do with different people's perceptions of what family is all about. Plus concerns with societal norms, social expectations, having a pad to bring women, and the like.

I'm pretty sure Evan isn't staying at home for his folks to take care of him. To me it doesn't make him any less "self-made", he's just fortunate. Can't knock that.

what are you 15? hes completely rehabbing a house basically from scratch...do you have a comprehension how stressful and expensive that is for the size and age of the house he is doing...staying at his rents house to save up enuff is smarter then moving out at 18 and living in a 1bedroom apt struggling to get by just because you wanted to move out
